This Privacy Policy explains how the SheetNova AI Google Sheets add-on handles, processes, and protects your data when you use the add-on.
SheetNova AI accesses only the data you explicitly select or authorize for use with the add-on. This may include:
We do not access other files or data in your Google account without your explicit consent.
Data accessed by the add-on is used only to perform the functionality you request (for example: calculations, formatting, automation, or AI generation). The add-on will only read or write data in your Sheets when you ask it to.
We do not store your Google Sheets content or personal data on external servers as part of normal operation. Any data sent to third-party services (see section 4) is transmitted only for the purpose of generating the requested output.
If any data were to be temporarily cached (for example in logs to diagnose issues), it will be retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service or troubleshoot the issue and then deleted.
For AI-powered features, the add-on may send selected prompts or content to a third-party AI service such as OpenAI to generate results. The handling of that data is subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policy. For example, OpenAI’s policies apply to requests made to their API.

SheetNova AI uses Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization. When you install or run the add-on, you will be asked to grant the minimum scopes required (for example: read and write access to the spreadsheets you choose to use with the add-on). You may revoke these permissions at any time via your Google account settings.
We do not sell or share your personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties. Data is shared only when required to provide the feature you requested (for example, sending a prompt to an AI service) or when required by law.
The add-on itself does not use cookies. The website hosting this policy may use standard GitHub Pages features but no analytics or tracking scripts are intentionally included.
SheetNova AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.
You control how you use the add-on. You can stop using the add-on or uninstall it at any time. To revoke access, go to your Google Account → Security → Manage third-party access and remove SheetNova AI.
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page with the "Last Updated" date is the current version. Significant changes will be posted here.
