This Privacy Policy explains how SheetNova AI, an AI-powered Google Workspace toolkit developed by NexKnot, accesses, processes, and protects user data when the add-on is used.
1. Data We Access
SheetNova AI accesses only the data that is explicitly selected, entered, or authorized by the user in the active spreadsheet window while using the add-on.
This may include:
- Spreadsheet cell values and selected ranges
- Spreadsheet data required for calculations, formatting, cleaning, analysis, or automation
- Basic Google account authorization information where required by Google OAuth
2. How We Use Data
All data accessed by SheetNova AI is processed strictly for the purpose of providing or improving the app's functionality. This may include executing operations such as data cleaning, formatting, calculations, analysis, or automation utilities directly initiated by the user.
The add-on reads or writes data within your spreadsheet only when you actively trigger a specific feature.
3. Data Storage & Retention
SheetNova AI does not store spreadsheet content, selected cell values, prompts, or personal data on NexKnot-owned external servers as part of normal operation.
Some non-sensitive settings, such as user preferences or configuration values, may be stored using Google Apps Script Properties Service to make the add-on work properly.
Temporary technical logs may be used only for debugging, support, abuse prevention, or troubleshooting, and are retained only as long as necessary.
4. Google Workspace Permissions
SheetNova AI uses Google OAuth authorization. When installing or using the add-on, users may be asked to grant permissions required for the add-on to function.
Permissions may be used to:
- Read spreadsheet data selected or used by the user
- Modify spreadsheet content when the user performs an action
- Display add-on UI inside Google Sheets
Users may revoke access at any time from their Google Account security settings.
Google API Disclosure & Limited Use Compliance
SheetNova AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We strictly process Google user data purpose of providing or improving the add-on's functionality and do not use it for any other unauthorized purpose.
5. Data Sharing
NexKnot does not sell, rent, or share user personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Data may be shared only when required to provide a user-requested feature, comply with applicable law, prevent abuse, or protect the service.
6. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking
The SheetNova AI add-on itself does not use cookies.
SheetNova AI may track anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as sidebar open events or button click frequencies) through Google Analytics solely to monitor app stability and improve the add-on functionality.
Strictly No spreadsheet contents, document cell values, user personal data, or private credentials are ever transmitted to or shared with Google Analytics.
7. User Control
Users control how they use SheetNova AI. Users may stop using the add-on, uninstall it, or revoke permissions at any time.
To revoke access, go to: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps & services, then remove access for SheetNova AI.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by SheetNova AI. However, no digital service can guarantee absolute security.
Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive or confidential information unless they are comfortable with the processing required to perform requested actions.

SheetNova AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
